In Partnership with the Evans Scholars Foundation & The Western Golf Association.
The IRGF Caddie Cadet Program is designed as a leadership and service pathway for committed youth inspired by the historic caddie tradition and aligned with college scholarship opportunities through our collaboration with the Western Golf Association (WGA) and Evans Scholars Foundation.



What is the Evans Scholars Program?
- A full tuition and housing college scholarship for high-achieving golf caddies
- Administered by the WGA, awarded at leading universities
- Requires strong academics, character, financial need, and caddie experience
What IRGF Caddie Cadets Will Do
- Begin training alongside IRGF mentors and PGA pros
- Shadow at local private clubs and tournaments
- Learn caddie etiquette, yardage, club management, and communication
- Document rounds and mentorship hours
- Progress to full caddie responsibilities under supervision


What It Builds
- College scholarship eligibility (Evans Scholar Pathway)
- Life and leadership skills: discipline, service, awareness, responsibility
- Deep mentorship from golf professionals and community leaders
- A resume and reference base that opens doors
Who Should Apply?
- Ages 13+
- Current or former Player Cadet Specialist preferred
- Must commit to training, service, and growth
- Academic focus and strong character required
