Why the IRGF?

The IRGF Story

The purpose of the Indian River Golf Foundation (IRGF) is to promote interest and awareness of local golfing opportunities and to encourage participation in programs that will lead to high levels of knowledge, player development and service in the game of golf. The Foundation builds upon TRADITIONS of the game supporting existing programs and establishing new BEGINNINGS in a wide-range of affordable golf experiences. Training, Practices and Competitions (TPC) are offered at all skill levels including Travel Golf Teams. The IRGF Players Club is designed for golfers of all ages…boys and girls. Young players are assisted by IRGF staff, PGA//LPGA professionals and volunteer coaches. Advancing juniors have an opportunity to earn Volunteer Community Service Credits. The IRGF has a fine record of creating employment and education opportunities through character building and athletic scholarships. Our golf instructors are local golf professionals, player cadets, and other volunteers that enjoy the game of golf. Join us for one of our golf lessons today!
