Program Overview

The IRGF Traditional After School (TAS) Program is a 7-week instructional and on-course golf development series designed for junior players of all skill levels.

  • Program Dates: March 3 through April 21, 2026
  • End-of-Series Tournament: April 25, 2026 at Habitat Golf Course
  • Schedule: 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
  • Format: Training • Practice • Competition (TPC)

Each weekly session blends skill development, structured practice, and competitive play in a fun, supportive environment. The series concludes with a friendly tournament experience following the seven-week program.

What’s Included

  • Short Game and Full-Swing instruction
  • Skill evaluations and progress tracking
  • Golf course competitions and on-course learning
  • Rules, etiquette, and course management fundamentals
  • End-of-series tournament held in conjunction with the Atlantic Junior Golf Tour on Saturdays

Weekly Locations & Days

  • Mondays: Sandridge Golf Club (4:00–5:00 PM)
  • Tuesdays: Sebastian Golf Course (4:00–5:00 PM)
  • Tuesdays: Mangrove Sands Golf Club (4:00–5:00 PM)
  • Thursdays: Sandridge Golf Club (4:00–5:00 PM)

Arrival & Practice Areas

Players are encouraged to arrive early when possible.

  • Putting greens open at 3:30 PM
  • Sandridge: South end driving range area
  • Mangrove Sands: Front putting green area
  • Sebastian: Putting green area for session start

Player Cadets

Experienced middle school and high school players may serve as Player Cadets, assisting IRGF instructors during structured breakout segments. This leadership role allows older players to mentor younger participants while reinforcing responsibility, communication, and confidence on the course.

Special Note: Youth On Course Access

Youth players may be eligible for $1 greens fees at participating area golf courses through the Youth on Course program.

  • Annual registration fee: $40 per year
  • Reduced rates may be available. Please check their website for details.

  • Youth on Course Membership

Participation in Youth on Course is optional but strongly encouraged to provide affordable access to additional course play outside of TAS sessions.
