The Players On Tour program supports local elite youth players aspiring to compete at advanced levels. Under the leadership of Zac Courtenay, formerly of Windsor Club, the program addresses the challenges of higher costs, transportation, and competition by fostering a supportive community. It provides structured development opportunities through high-level tournament participation, mentorship, and advanced training sessions. The program comprises local elite players from high schools, including Sebastian River High School, Vero Beach High School, St. Edward’s School, John Carroll Catholic School, and other schools in the region.


1. Program Components and Pathways

A. Tour-Level Competitive Pathways
The program prepares players for participation in top-tier junior tours and tournaments, including:

    • U.S. Kids Golf – Stuart – Space Coast

    • Florida Junior Tour (FJT)

    • South Florida PGA Junior Tour

    • Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT)

    • American Junior Golf Association (AJGA)

These tours offer exposure to college recruiters, national rankings, and expanded competitive experiences.


B. High School and Regional Elite Tournaments
Players are actively supported in participating in prestigious high school tournaments along the East Coast of Florida, which include regional, district, and state-level championships.

    • These tournaments feature medalist play, attracting college scouts and national ranking opportunities.


C. Tour-Ready Player Development

    • Advanced Training Sessions: Weekly club practices focus on advanced course strategy, risk assessment, and shot execution.

    • Performance Analysis: Players use data tools and performance feedback from experts to refine their game.

    • Golf Fitness & Mental Preparation: Players participate in customized strength, conditioning, and mental toughness programs designed for competitive success.


2. Community and Mentorship Support

A. Weekly Club Atmosphere

    • Players meet regularly to collaborate, strategize, and build team camaraderie in a structured “club” environment.

    • Training sessions include discussions on tournament preparation, course strategy, travel planning, and balancing school with competition.
