IRGF Tournament Results

The 2026-2027 Atlantic Junior Golf Tour season got underway with the 16th Annual AJGT/IRGF Junior Grapefruit Golf Classic at Vero Beach Country Club.

Junior golfers from elementary through high school competed across multiple divisions, with 18-hole, 9-hole, and 6-hole formats giving players at different stages of development the opportunity to compete in a true tournament setting.

Vero Beach Country Club provided a great backdrop for the season opener, challenging experienced players while creating a fun and welcoming environment for younger competitors.

The event reflected what the AJGT is all about: getting junior golfers on the course, building confidence, learning through competition, and enjoying the game alongside other young players.

A special thank you to Vero Beach Country Club, our volunteers, families, coaches, and supporters for helping make the event possible.

It was a great way to kick off the 2026-2027 AJGT season.

The 2026 Treasure Coast Junior Golf Tour season came to a close with the TCJGT/IRGF Championship at Sandridge Golf Club’s Dunes Course on July 24.

The championship served as the finale to a summer of tournament golf for junior players ages 5 to 18, following events at some of the Treasure Coast’s outstanding clubs, including Vero Beach Country Club, Riomar, Indian River Club, The Moorings, and John’s Island West.

With both 18-hole and 9-hole divisions, the championship gave players the opportunity to put everything they had worked on throughout the summer into a competitive tournament setting. More than simply a season-ending event, the TCJGT partnership with the Indian River Golf Foundation is designed to help young golfers develop their games while learning sportsmanship, etiquette, character, and leadership through competition.

The championship at Sandridge provided a fitting conclusion to another summer of junior golf, bringing players together for one final opportunity to compete, improve, and celebrate a season on the course.

The 2026 IRGF / AJGT Skills Championship was held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at John’s Island West Golf Course, bringing junior golfers together for a different kind of competition focused on the skills that help build a complete player.

Rather than a traditional tournament round, the championship challenged players through a series of golf skills designed to test accuracy, touch, control, consistency, and confidence. The format gave juniors of all ages an opportunity to compete, measure their progress, and put the fundamentals they have been developing into action.

The Skills Championship is an important part of the AJGT player development experience, reinforcing that success in golf goes beyond simply posting a score. It is about developing the skills, confidence, and ability to perform under pressure that ultimately carry over onto the golf course.

It was a great morning of competition at John’s Island West and another opportunity for IRGF and AJGT players to challenge themselves, have fun, and continue growing their games.
